Rachel D. Hemm (she/her) is a lighting and scenic designer based out of Chicago, IL. Rachel is an alum of Ball State University, where she received a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology with a Minor in History in May, 2019.

In June 2019, Rachel's lighting design for It Can Happen Here 

was exhibited in the North American pavillion of the Prague Quadrennial in Czechia.

Rachel is a member of the Illinois Theatre Association (ITA) and The International Organisation of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians (OISTAT).

Outisde of theatre, Rachel is passionate about her dog, cat, and tiramisu.
